I did a search, but didn't find what I was looking for. Hopefully this isn't a re-post....

The oil level in my F16D keeps getting higher (significantly). Back in my days of working on carb'd trucks, this meant the diaphram went bad on the fuel pump. Is that the case on my Yanny? If so, what's involved in a fix?

Sounds like a leaky/sticky fuel injector to me. You might want to try to run some injector cleaner (high dose) in your fuel tank and see if it helpsclear it up. Usually injector issues are associated with rough Idle and excessive smoke.

CHECK OUT YOUR HYD PUMP. SOMETIMES IF IT HAS A BAD SEAL IT CAN LEAKS HYD. FLUID INTO CRANKCASE. SAM

Thanks both of you for your quick replies.

The tractor idles and runs fine. There isn't any abnormal smoke (only when under hard load, and that's not a lot of smoke).

The hydraulic pump doesn't appear to have ever been removed (it hasn't been repainted, and there aren't any tell-tale marks on the bolts). But, that doesn't mean it's not bad.

If it is the hyd pump, is a complete rebuild in order, or is there a particular seal or diaphram that I may be able to replace?

thanks again.

My hydraulic pump was leaking quite badly and it turned out just to be the bottom o-ring. There is also an o-ring in the top. Cost: 77 cents each and easy to replace. You might want to try that.
