Getting More TZ Power

Has anyone tried to get more power out of one of these 3 cyl diesels?
My Duramax diesel can get a major boost by changing a chip so maybe something is possible with my TZ18 mini-duramax!
The displacement is the same on the 18 & 22 hp models so in theory it is possible...

fuel pump is the first place to look (though they are usually "tamper proof" to keep us from fiddling with them) - a couple discussion in the past. try using the search function.
