I'm located in Central Maryland and I have a T1600H 44" mower, it still runs but the starter is almost shot and it is real hard to get started in cold weather. Once started it runs great. It has a few other quirks, the deck has always hung crooked since apparently the first owner had the deck welded. One rear axle has the wheel bolt threads D&T to the next largest SAE size and Grade 5 bolts installed, this repair has held for several years now. I installed the factory Hobbs meter on it when I got it used, so the hours on the meter do not reflect its first years of running.
I have taken good care of it and fixed it up a bit over the years including new U-Joints on the propeller shaft recently. In particular the engine and HST are really good. However I don't feel like dropping $358 on a new starter and it is really a bit small for my needs, I have bought a larger mower already and don't need two mowers as much as I need the space it takes up.
If anyone has any ideas how best to sell this, perhaps someone needs the engine or HST, let me know. I'd drop it off at Barlow's but they are a bit far away from Maryland.
THanks
HF
