As some of you may know I recently bought a Ford 3500, the injection pump plungers were stuck and I rebuilt it after 4 days soaking in diesel (And a dead blow hammer and a square head screwdriver). The story behind it is it was parked for ten years and then the injection pump was removed after an owner change, then it sat for ten more years without the IP and the starter. I bought it turned it over with a screwdriver, good compression
, look around and find the IP and the starter. Day gets better and better, but now I need help timing the pump and getting it running. I am no novice, I have worked on diesels for about 6 years.
