getting the fuel filer off a 180D with FEL

I went to change the fuel filter on my 180D with a FEL; a simple task looks like it will change into a nuckle beeding swearing venture without taking the hydraulic controls off ... any suggestions on making this task easier is appreciated ... without having to dismantle the tractor in the process ...oh and I dont have a filter wrench on hand too.

Same problem here except the fuel filter is behind the hydraulic filter on YM186D.

I bought filter pliers from Harbor Freight. (not the locking ones). This does the job easily. They go in where my hand is too big to fit.

ach I even have filter pliers just like that; why didnt I think of that! I'll try it when Im there next ...now under 8 In snow ...
