GF1800 how to tow

I have recently bought a used Kubota gf1800e. I have no manuals with it
or instructions.
I would like to know how to disengage the drive if I have to push it or tow it
without it running.
Any help will be appreciated.

You can't tow it or make it freewheel in any way. In the manual and a warning label says specifically not to tow it.

Thanks for the tip, kind of an oversight in the design I would say!
What type of vehicle doesn't need to be towed or pushed at some time?

I suppose there is a reason for it, or at the time the design didn't allow for it. They still make this tractor, although not for the US market. I bought a new 4WD model this year in Canada. They haven't changed the design of it since it came out in the 90's sometime. I suppose this could be seen as a good thing as most problems would have been ironed out by now and parts are easy to come by. I bought it to tackle my hilly property and have shaved an hour off my mowing time with the 60" deck. If you have any questions about this model feel free to ask, I've tried to learn as much as possible about mine.
