Giant agricultural machinery projects?

Hi,

I would like to know if they are projects of biggest agricultural machines than these machines for the future :

Articulated Tractors: > 800 HP

Normal tractors : > 310 HP

Combine harvesters : > 540 HP

Forage harvesters : > 800 HP

SugarBeet harvesters : > 610 HP

Potato harvesters : > 400 HP

Are they projects ?

If yes ,I would like to know the specifications from the machines .

Hi Marc,

Kind of on a side note here, but have you seen BIG BUD on the classic tractor cable TV show? It is supposed to be "the biggest" AG tractor currently.

I think it has a 1,000 gallon fuel tank, and is articulated.

I first heard of the Big Bud when a neighbor showed me a calendar that included a picture and description. You might try Big Bud for some pictures.

I'm not sure this is the best place to post that question. Most of us are tractor users, not tractor designers. You might be able to get some inforemation from the various manufacturers, like Deere, Cat, Case, Hew Holland, etc.

Hi, Marc,

"Projects" as used on this forum refers to projects that we do with our tractors, not projects about tractors. In the "projects" section, we discuss things like building barns, grading ditches, installing driveways, and so forth.

It's also a forum for compact tractors, which are smaller than agricultural tractors, so we don't know much about giant machinery.

Now, if you were asking questions about small tractors, perhaps in the 15 to 60 Horsepower range, you'd be likely to get a whole lot of answers!
