I've been poking around the forums for a quite a while when I thought..... why haven't I signed up yet?
So, Hello all.
I've noticed the knowlege base here is tremendous. I'm not sure what I could offer, but I know enough to keep a good tractor running.
My favorite was a family hand down MF-202 loader, back hoe that my Grandfather puchased new in 60. Over the years we modified and attached everything possible to this tough old tractor: Box blade, 7 ft deck, spring harrow, 540 to 2100 gearbox to run water pumps or the generator, logsplitter, rotory sluice box, even a trencher with conveyor. A few years ago I left it with my Nephew. By that time it still had some original yellow, but many parts were blue, red, green, white and orange. I've heard he still digs footings and landscapes with it.
This is a good tractor. What do you suppose the actual hours are?
So now we live much closer to town and all I have and want is my little Snapper MGT2000H (really a Power King 1620HV). I mow, push snow and tug on stuff. I'd recommend this as a good tractor.
