Glove recommendations

I like thin leather or deerskin gloves for everyday chores, but they don't hold up to tough work. So I've tried many of the HD leather, and the higher priced Mechanix Wear styles but don't care for any of them long term. My son grabbed a pair of the knit gloves from Menards, similar to what mbergeon linked to above. That's all he wears now for rough work. I plan to switch to those (nitrile or latex) as I replace my work gloves.

I've found that these outlast leather gloves by a long shot, but they're sized small, I need the XL, but normally wear L size.
