My 2021 75C is experiencing its first winter in the coldest spot in North America, where I live. So far it hasn’t been too cold, teens or so. But I haven’t seen any delay in the glow plug light going off when turning the key. My kubota waits a bit and then goes off. But the 75C is less than a second, even at 20*F. It took a couple extra revolutions to start this week, but nothing major. Are the newer tractor engines just really fast for glow plugs? Or do I need to look for a problem? For the -40*f days I have a block heater but it is not plugged in yet.

thanks for any help.

Different glow plugs are constructed differently inside so you need to compare the glow plug numbers for the characteristics. You can have a quick heating or regular glow plug with exactly the same dimensions.
