Good stuff. I first used to keep moisture out of spark plug boots. But it skins over nicely in open air, so also makes for good battery lug protection. As long as it's adhered to bare metal, it represents an impermeable barrier to moisture. No moisture, no rust. And the fact that it skins over, means you don't have to worry about dirt/dust/chaff glomming onto it.
