Last fall, I noticed the glow plug light on the dash came on when I turned the key on, but did not hear the pulse that I was use to hearing. After the tractor warmed up, I go to restart it, I could hear the pulse going on until the glow plug light went off.
A few weeks ago, I went to start it, it was about 50 degrees, but no pulse sound when the key was on and the glow plug light was lit. It started, but it ran rough and blew black smoke for about 10 seconds. Is there a fuse or something I can chek before I call the dealer to come get the tractor? It is a 2007 4220i. Last fall I lost power to the PTO, the dealer had to replace a pump or something like that on the bottom of the tractor close to the left rear wheel.
Thanks,
