I have his tandem axel trailer that uses disc brakes robbed from a 80 something GM car. The fellow who sold it to me said "GM intermediate" parts.

Well I need new rotors and brakes so I ordered some for a 89 Caprice, (which I had previously matched the pads too and was told that was the donor vehicle, I thought )
11" dia, as are mine. Raybestos #5940 and Brakes SGD52 m and of course both are wrong.
The inner bearing appears to be the same but the outer is much larger on the new rotor.
The bearing I need are outer cone LM11949 3/4" bore cup LM11910 1.785" OD

Inner cone 67048 1.25" bore and cup 67010 2.33" OD

The brake pads look to be the same in the pictures as the 85 Camaro and Monte Carlo but who knows. The rotors may not be from the same vehicle as the calipers.
Any ideas? Who has a good online catolog? The place I orderd them from has their part # for the bearings but not the bearing #, If I could match the bearing # up with a new rotor I'd likely be on my way.
Thanks
Ken

I'm not a GM guy but I'm curious- do you have to buy the hub and rotor assembly just to get a rotor:confused:
Every car/truck I've ever done a brake job on, and its been quite few but I admit never GM that I can recall, the rotors can be replaced without replacing the hubs and fooling with the bearings.

I would have to guess the intermediate brakes would be the ones on the (rear wheel drive) Malibu..... and if i'm not mistaken, S-10 pickup brakes are the same.

You may find the right bearing sets at VXB.com. I got some just about overnight from them. The problem is that a GM intermediate ( "A-car" in that era) was a Cutlass, or Malibu, or a Grand Prix, or Regal. The Caprice was a "B-car".

Yes with this the hub and rotor is 1 piece.
I'm serching the net and finding the vehicles mentioned refered to as intermediates, I just lke to find someone who list the real bearing # for the parts b4 I hit the buy button again.
Thanks
Ken

I know that Bearings Inc. dba Atlantic Tracy , Granger Industries have good cross references for bearings, pulleys, most industrial stuff. They should have online catalogues. plowking
