I dont know if this is the right forum but I am working on the rear disc brakes on my 1987 GMC 7000 dump truck and they are not wanting to come off. The only thing I see that can be holding them on is the four bolts on the inside of the caliper. Of course none of the nuts will come off, the bolts just turn when I try to take the nuts off.
The only option I see is torching them off, but before I do that I want to make sure that these bolts are indeed what holds the caliper on. Since these trucks are common hopefully someone has worked on a set of these before. They are non air brakes of course.
Thanks
