our governor in Maryland would make sure that this place was closed down. You see in Maryland if you do not agree with the governor you will be harassed.

Yeah, its nice to live in a free state. Right to Bear Arms, Freedom of Speech...all that stuff. Its one of the reasons I left state-controlled california.

I have a deer lease in Mason and know where Keller's place is. Due to that commercial, the texas DPS was going to investigate his business for discrimination and possibly revoke his license to conduct CHL classes. I'm not sure of the final outcome.

Last I heard, DPS informed him that discrimination based on religion was illegal and his license would be pulled if he actually denied teaching the class based on the person being muslim. There was nothing illegal about refusing to teach select voters however. He pulled the ad from the air, but left it on his website and claims he does not recognize Islam as a valid religion, but rather he sees it as a political belief system. He feels bullied into accepting adherents into the CHL classes based on the state sponsorship of the license, but since the licenses is not required for his other firearm classes he does not feel they can pull his CHL Instructor license if he refuses to accept "anyone he feels are a threat to the safety of the class" for those courses.

I guess he is still in business. It has been real quiet regarding him since last November.

This is where it could get real dicey. First off they are messing with a guy in Texas who has his own opinion and secondly he has and knows how to use weapons.

Hope some of you guys keep us posted of what comes down the pike on this.
