Hello all,
I have been scouring the net looking for tractors that I can afford (i.e. pay cash for) and in all my searching I don't really think I can go wrong with a Yanmar from Fredricks Outdoor. I'm looking at trying to buy around a 30hp with Koyker loader. Granted I will have to go all the way to Alabama to pick it up. I want to see and drive the tractor first. Seems to me dollar for dollar I really can't find a better deal. Has any of you dealt with these folks? Any advice on what to look for with these older units is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Easy drive once you get on 20. I've done it from Athens Ga. area. But you May save a lot of driving by talking to Steve at Spalding Tractor in Hampton Ga.. He's Fredricks supplied and keeps a few models on site. We purchased a YM2500 from him and my personal YM2000. Don't regret it for either. Here he is 26 HP DIESEL TRACTOR 2WD

he use to have a list of dealers on his site. I don't see it now. Could be a dealer close to you .
I guess you would have to call

Clemsonfor who is a regular on here. He lives in Greenwood SC. so if there is one he would know about them. We talked about steve a few times. If you do call ask them if these are Fredricks Supplied. Which I bet they are...Ym2d 4wd 24hp Yanmar tractor

Is deerslayer in sc? I'm on my phone and can't see locations?? But there is NO fredericks dealer in the state. If I were to buy I would call Steve just South of ATL at Spalding Tractors and see what he can get for you. I have sat down and talked with him in person, he is a great honest guy. Or you could dive the 2+ more hours to Frederick's and look at them.

But many people have bought from them and they are great and the only authorized grey yanmar dealer around anymore. Kenmac has one of their tractors as well as many others. I would not worry a bit buying sight unseen . Course if you need to test drive them to get an idea of size and the power etc you need to go drive them thats all there is to it.
