Going today to look at it

bush hog, front loader tractor

It is a 2200 Yanmar, talked with the guy he says he is the second owner. Apparently the first owner ran it out of oil (forgot to screw in the drain plug) so it was rebuilt around 180 hours. Price looks awesome and this will be a great upgrade for my little plot of land. Worried that it looks too good to be true.

Anything in particular to look out for on this one? Any help would be appreciated!

Welcome to the forum. :welcome: Looks like a 2000 instead of 2200. First owner was in Japan. That is a grey market. The seller is the second owner in America. Not sure you are aware of the greys. Not knocking the tractor, hope it works out for you.

The 2000 is probably the mose populous grey over here and probably most parts available for it.

Run . . way overpriced for an abused 2 wd Vietnam refurbished YM 2000. No telling how many hidden problems are in this thing.

You know after reading this forum...I may run. He is selling another Yanmar, it has 40 hrs. That one worries me as well. I might keep looking thanks!

it was rebuilt at 180 hrs ?? LOL ...If so, it was rebuilt in japan at 180 HRS. back in the 80's...
That tractor was in japan when it had original 180 hrs on the meter

Can't believe these people are still trying to sell these lies about these tractors

yep unless the "original " owner here let the oil run out of it at 180 hours after he bought it reconditioned!!!

And thats the price of a brand new reconditioned one. If it is what it says though it will still be a solid tractor. I would want it for less than that price though
