I am new to this forum but I recently got my Ford Golden Jubilee running and slowly working on making it run like it should. I had no spark to the plugs and changed the points, condensor, plugs, and wires and she fired up. Now my problem is that when I increase the throttle nothing happens until about half way and then the tractor revs up and stays reved for about 10 seconds minimum. I turn of the tractor to avoid damaging anything... My immediate thinking is that its the carb.... so I pulled it today and its a tsx-241b and I thought the Jubilee's were supposed to have the tsx-428? should I rebuild this carb or get a new one? or is this even my problem. The carb is not gummed up or anything and is very clean inside.
