Old friend and customer, Bennett, passed away this past year, auction was Saturday. Having to go fetch a horse 5 hrs. away for my daughter I missed it.
Son made it though so helped him cart away his purchases on my return. Sadly he did not buy the nice little twin cylinder J.D L stationary motor which sold for only 160.00.
Recall Bennett showing me the motor once, slick little unit with all the cowling and rad attached, believe also has a clutch. At any rate was Bennetts dream to build a small tractor out of it. Lord only knows how many years he had it tucked away all inside and cozy, he died in his late 80s.
At any rate one of Bennett's son's friends bought it with plans to get it going this winter.
