He sent me a video of it running (not moving) and the loader moving up and down. He said he is a part time pumpkin farmer and the year of the tractor is a 2009. He said he owned for 6 years.

seems a little high for a 3000 hr tractor.
Have you compared similar tractors with similar hours on tractor house ?

None in the area, but a general search across the USA shows similar tractors with around 2k hours for 24k or more. There is a 2008 one in Michigan with close to 5k hours and they are asking 20k at the dealer.

you're right. That may be a good price. I found one 210 mod with 4100 hours. they are asking 22K
You may want to go try this one out before it gets away

Have to get eyes on it to know for sure, but that seems like a pretty good deal to me.

At 3200 hours on it, it has a lotta life left in it.

It is tempting to go look at it but trying to squeeze in the time to do that is what is helping to hold me back. My dilemma is that I need a second tractor but I don't need a second tractor just yet. Technically I can get by with a 2wd tractor in the summer as a second tractor but then during the spring, fall and winter months it would not get much use. This is also a hobby for myself and even though I see the price on this tractor to be well worth it, it is hard to shell out that kind of money on something that I wont really make money with (at least not enough to pay for the tractor). My SAME has been very reliable so far, despite being a 36yr old tractor. I have only put about 200 hours on it in the last 3 years and about 50 hours or so on the 2wd tractors I have borrowed for the summer hay season. Financially I can make it happen but it would make it tight for just myself for the next several years.... I picked up my SAME at a farm auction for 7500 for just a little background on that. I didn't hesitate and no regrets on that purchase.

Are parts easy to come by for Kubota's from the mid 80's in the 50-75hp range? They pop up from time to time in my area on craigslist around 7-11k range. I may hold out for one of those instead.
