Just wanted to let others know about some nice seat covers that fit BX tractors. At least they fit the two BX seat styles on mine. My BX1500 seat had many cracks plus some bites my neighbor's horse took out of it. This cover saved the cost of a replacement plus the fabric is more comfortable than plain vinyl and has storage pockets in back. I turned around and ordered one for my still good BX2230 seat for the comfort and storage, and long range protection.
The covers are from Classic Accessories and come in small and medium. My 2004 BX1500 has a low-back seat (measures 13-1/2" outside height) and the small cover fits it perfectly. My 2005 BX2230 seat has a higher back (18-1/2" outside height) and the medium fits if fine. Note the diagrams on the boxes show the seat height measurements being outside (12" for the small, 15" for the medium). From those specs the covers should not fit my seats but they both fit perfectly.
The company web site lists the covers for around $40, but I found them on Amazon for $19 for the medium and $22.78 for the small.
