Good Clearing/Farm tractor for 250+ acres

Hey guys. I know you are probably sick of seeing these types of posts but we are selling the family farm in the next 3-4 years. In order to make in more attractive to a buyer we are cleaning it up. We sold all of our old equipment and only have my Farmall M still there. I have acsess to a mini excavator and bulldozer so digging the grading won't be an issue for this tractor. Because of dealership support we are ONLY looking at John Deere 5095M, The Case 85C and the Massey Fergueson 4610. I love the John Deere dealership and the tractor, but don't love the price. I love the Case aswell, but the Massey is the same price for more tractor. Which of those would you guys get? Resale is important, but id rather have a good tractor for the work then a paycheck at the end. A cab, and 3rd function loader aux hydraulics for a grapple are neacessary. Thanks, John

with mini ex, and bulldozer, you can do a good amount of damage with just them. so i am wondering why need for a tractor? beyond 250+ acres and wanting more MPH going from one end to other end of property.

a mini ex, with say a dump truck, with a trailer to handle mini ex to drag around behind dump truck, might make more sense.

I used to own the mini excavator but a can now only borrow it for short periods of time from a friend. Also need to mow the fields with the machine and I plan on logging some of the deadstand with it.

Define "Cleaning it up". What are you hoping to do? How many acres need cleaned?

I think I would stick with the Massey given your choices mentioned.

I sell the 85C, and its for sure a really nice machine. Very powerful, quiet and luxurious. We have one sitting out on the lot now, its an open station with loader for $49,900. Add in about $5-6K for a cab, and its still a fantastic price for this sized tractor.

If you have brush say 2 to10 years growth then a mowing tractor and something like a brown tree cutter might be best. If you could bend it up or do any damage then get something used.
