Loader GOOD GRIEF!! My GRAPPLE FELL OFF today!!!!!

I have my Quick Attach adjusted so it latchs down tight.
Once I lock the levers down my attachments are NOT coming off.

So was/is mine. Right now one-handed due to the crash, I am not sure I can even undo it.

But a 3-4" thick pine treetop popped the lever loose when it came straight back through the grapple.

Once the lever popped, game over.

Ive been using my single lever Kioti for about 10 months..it lock very tight...takes alot of force to unlatch it.

A grapple is openbacked and allows stuff to hit the levers. Just tie some wire around the latch when using grapple...problem solved

Same here, 15 months and no issues so far with the single lever Kioti QA. My most used attachment is the Gator Grapple and so far it locks on rock solid. I did have Gator add additional back plates to the grapple so I have very few issues with stuff going through the back of the grapple.

Just completed having my brush bar and log grapple fitted with expanded metal to keep branches, etc. from poking through to the grill or releasing the QA lever 'without authorization' :thumbsup:

Pics of how mine got fixed. Wild Kat sent 2 metal pieces, & then I took the grapple bucket to a local welder to have them welded on. These "tabs" extend 7/16" further toward the sloped contact surface of the SS QA securing pins (click on them for bigger pics):

Remember we are talking Kubota, early 2003. The coil spring on top of the lock pin, the sleeve slips inside between the coil and the adjuster bolt. It just limits the travel of the spring so it becomes a positive lock vs spring loaded.

I can't picture this sleeve/ shim. Where does it sit? What does it do?
