Hoping someone can shed some light. Kioti 3054 with 8f/8r, FEL and quick detach backhoe attachments. Looks like new with only 137 hours on the clock. Its at the local Kioti dealer on consignment for 18,000. Seem reasonable? The unit is the previous style 3054, not the latest build that seems to lean toward the industrial side of things.

The dealer also had an older 3504 with a just replaced engine (under 5 hours - 1 year warranty for next buyer) which also had a FEL (KL128) and a backhoe (K1550) on it. Ready for paint and new seats, but looked solid everywhere that mattered. They were asking 15k for this machine. Hour meter reading about 1300 for an idea of chassis use. Machine appears to have been used hard and stored outside, but is mechanically solid according to the dealer.

Is one of these the better deal? I'm quite certain that either machine will meet my needs, just shopping price at this point.

Thanks in advance for any help.

What kind of backhoe does the newer one have? I'm trying to judge the difference - I paid around $20k for my LK3054 a couple of years ago, with Rhino 65 BH. It's a little small for the tractor size, but I was keeping costs down.

It's a tough call as to which one make the most sense - I guess I think the $18k price might be a little high. After all, don't you know that Kiotis have no resale value? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif But seriously, I would probably go for the newer unit.

BTW, you need to get an LK3054 - then there would be 2 people with an old Ferguson and an LK3054 in the same area - too strange!

Its an even smaller world than you think... I live in Zionsville. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif If a rolled a tire out my driveway I think it would roll down the hill and settle in your yard. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I think I would rather a CK30 over a LK3054 at that price

I'm with Wallace. Soooooo many more features on the CK series and a bigger platform to work from to boot.
