I am the head of Triage treatment for my building of about 1000 people. So I try to find good information to send out to the people. This website has some great stuff. For a good laugh though go to the "I did it tab" while you are there go to the "things I shouldn't have done" tab. Be Safe TBN'ers
Great website. The one in this link DisasterSafety.org brings back memories. I remember making a cord longer that way so I could run my radio out to the swimming pool in our backyard. I was 6 and I'm surprised I didn't get shocked or killed.
The other end of the cord didn't have a male end either so I just stuck the wires in the outlet. I still do that sometimes. I really shouldn't though.
The end at the radio plug was just laying on the wet ground.
I also remember when I was 7 and got mad at my sister because she wouldn't turn the radio down in the living room so I could watch my show. I went to the kitchen cabinet and got the scissors and snipped the cord clean in half.
Yep Chad I have made some strange connections that would not pass any UL code at all. I work on some very high power systems now that would operate small businesses. That stuff makes me nervous because you wouldn't get a second chance. Same as my tree business I want to go home at the end of the day with no stitches or missing limbs... Maybe the tree's will be missing a few limbs though.
