I recently purchased a Premium quality 3 point hitch kit for my YM2000 from Rick McClain of Best Used Tractors, Lowell, OR. To our disappointment (Rick and mine), the arms were too short. The fabricator had fabricated the lift arms the std length, and then bent the offsets into them, making the resulting length about 2" shorter than they were. Rick checked with the fabricator, and was told the arms were the longest he would fabricate. Rick then told me to return the 3 point hitch kit, and he would refund me the cost of the kit and the cost of shipping both ways. Sure enough, I received a check from Rick for the full amount. That's the kind of person I will do business with in the future.

Hi Shelton,

This is the person Rick buys those 3 Point Hitches from, and I just wanted to personally explain about the transaction. First, I’m sorry that our hitch did not fit your Yanmar the way you wanted it to… until your purchase we have had no problems with over 300 sets we’ve sold so far, for Yanmars. Regarding the refund, we were the ones that returned the entire amount of your purchase plus shipping, which cost us over $70 out of pocket as a business loss. You can gladly verify that with Rick, he just passed the money back to you, but it came from us.

I hope that you find the hitch you’re looking for, sorry ours didn’t work for you.

Ernie, thanks for your support and help with the transaction. I remember that you were involved - the source from which Rick had obtained the 3 pt hitch kit. I wasn't sure just who reimbursed me - just that I was - for the full amount, including shipping both ways. I repeat, dealing with you and Rick, while I didn't get what I wanted, I didn't get stuck with something I didn't want.
