In another thread I reported about my unfortunate experience with HydraulicHoseFittings.com...there have been other complaints as well...including a recent thread in this forum.

A while back I orded a couple things from DiscountHydraulicHose.com and it came real fast...actually since we are in the same state I thought it came the next day, under standard UPS shipping, but guessed that could not have been the case and that my memory was failing me again...

So yesterday I placed a relatively large order (for me) consisting of 11 hoses with fittings on the ends, and a whole bunch of adapters.

What arrives today? A box with 90% of my order inside!

Now I guess I could complain a little, as I told the guy I was not in a great hurry and could wait until the order was totally filled before they shipped anything, to save a little on shipping costs, but still...after waiting a month for nothing from the other vendor, I have to say, this place looks pretty good.

They ALWAYS ANSWER THE PHONE. They faxed me a confirmation of my order (within minutes of my hanging up the phone) so I could check it BEFORE I gave them the credit card number.

Just wanted to give a heads up on what seems to be a good place to order fittings and hose. I think the prices are even cheaper than that OTHER place...

They have done right by me (2 for 2) as far as I am concerned. I am glad they shipped what the did, it will give me a head start if we get some more warm weather. I can't complain.

Probably worth checking this place out if you need hydraulic hose or fittings at a reasonable price. Seems to be working for me! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Henro,
Can you still remember what your project was, or are you sitting there looking at a big pile of parts and wondering why you ordered them?

LOL. That's a good question. Well Henro? Is the answer.. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif, or /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif, or /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif? Gerard

Henro knows what he's doing but I suspect that he likes to pace himself when it comes to work related projects. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Good to hear you're getting the service you deserve Henro. Of course, the real question now is what are you doing with 11 new hydraulic hoses? A hydraulically powered ROPS drill? Hydraulically operated remote controls to operate two tractors from one? Hydraulic toilet flush?

Cliff and GerardC,

You are pretty right on there. It took me a LONG morning to go over what I wanted to accomplish and make sure I was ordering what I needed/wanted/knew before but wasn't sure now/right stuff...you got it right! /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

PineRidge, now you are sounding like my wife again. She would have put the period after the word "work" though... /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Of course, the real question now is what are you doing with 11 new hydraulic hoses?

RobS, I'm going to cut some of them in half, naturally! That way I will end up with 17 hoses (with the aid of reusable ends) for use in my T&T project, which really has turned out to be never ending... /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
