Gooseneck Hitch Offset or Extender-Use One?

I run my flatdeck and hosre GN's in my 6' box without an extender of any kind and I'm just fine.

There was some concern raised by a sales guy at an RV dealership that I'd need it. He was F.O.S.

Now if you pull it with a Little Red Express Truck, you may be in trouble!!
