Has anyone found a solvent that will clean up gorilla glue from your hands? I'm glueing up alot of panels, and I know what the instructions say, but.....is there anything other than time that will clean this stuff up once it is cured? I was going to try fingernail polish remover, but the wife is out. Thanks in advance.

I love Gorilla glue. It only has one drawback that I'm aware of. You don't clean it off. You wear it off. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Wear it proudly. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

That's kind of what I thought. It could be worse I guess, at least the stuff doesn't turn your skin red, or purple!!

Hi goaliedad,

I think you're right to go with acetone pre-cure--get the straight stuff instead of nailpolish remover--like fiberglass resin--post-curing though, you've got a chunk of plastic! /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Skin grows fast though! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

goliedad,
You might try this stuff call "Goof-Off". You can get it at just about any hardware store or a Lowe's or Home Depot. It's a solvent that removes about everything I've had stick to me. However, I've never tried it on gorilla glue...never had any gorillas.
