Not exactly a welding question, but maybe someone here can answer this question. I just bought this Goss AP-45 propane torch for doing driveway crack repairs. It is suppose to have a pilot flame so that you can keep it burning between uses. It has a valve (round knob) that you use to light it and vary the flame, and I thought when you press the lever it would go to full flame - at least that's what I get from the instructions. But, the flame just goes out when I press the lever, so for now, I'm just relighting it between uses and using the knob to adjust the flame size. Is there a way to set up a pilot flame on this and go from pilot to full flame and back or not? Thanks for any help figuring this out.
