I posted on CL looking for a used rear 60" blade. Picked this one up for $40. I wish I had before pictures. The 3 point was pretty bent up and broke off in 2 places and the person who tried to fix it shouldn't be aloud to have a welder in his hands. I'll give the guy an "E" for effort though.

After a few hours of torching, grind and welding, I have it pretty much put back together. Just need to paint the blade Kubota orange now. :D I painted the 3 point black for now to cover up the bare metal, but would like to find Kubota gray for the 3 point. I have the orange from TSC for the blade itself.

It's all 1/2" thick steel except for the top brace which is about 3/8" thick. It came like that, I just had to straighten some of it out and weld it on a few places. When I was cleaning it up, it had a name tag on it, International, so that looks to be the brand of the blade. Well worth the money. I was going to try to make my own, but by the time I buy the steel, it was cheaper to buy this which was a steal. :)

Eh, not bad. I bought a 6' snowblower from CL last summer - guy wanted $1500. When I went to look at the blower, I noticed that the seller had a 6' Woods grading blade sitting in his side yard. I ended up taking the blower for $1350 with the blade thrown in for free. Blade was a bit rusty, but straight. Sa-weet.

You did very well.
International not the same as IH used to be a lot of bang for the buck IMHO.
They used to be known also as World Agritech Corp. both out of Ohio back in the day.I own one of their plows and a heavy duty square boom pole. Tons of their stuff still around.I believe and I might be mistaken but their products might be man. now by "Hawkline".

You made out well on that I'd say. I have a 6' blade that looks very much like yours. The tags have been painted over by the previous owner so I don't know the name of manufacturer. That sucker is so heavily built it's not even funny. The thinnest piece of steel on it is 1/4" and that is the blade itself. It is in great shape but I payed much more then $40. I looked at Land-Pride, Woods and TSC blades before I bought this thing. I don't have to worry about it bending for sure.

Close works for me. Thanks. Now I don't have to take a piece of the tractor in to try and match up a color.
