- Kubota L3430 Polaris Ranger 500
I closed a deal today with an individual on a L3530. It has 375 hrs., GST transmission and FEL. It has been garage kept and looks brand new. Although this is my second tractor, I'm still pretty excited. I have a larger New Holland that I use on my farm, about 1.75 hrs from my home. I recently bought 5 acres and just had to have a CUT for that acreage. I will build a new house on the new acreage when my current residence sells. The New Holland has been a great tractor so far, but since Kubota seems to be so popular with the CUT crowd, I decided to go Orange this time.
OK, a quick question. The previous owner said he changed the oil every 50 hrs. because a light comes on on the digital dash reminding of that need. That seems a little excessive to me but that may be standard procedure for Kubotas. I won't pick up the new toy until next week, and I forgot to get the manual from the previous owner so I haven't read up on oil changes yet. Are oil changes required that often on Kubotas? Do you guys use only Kubota oil or is Rotella an acceptable substitute?
I'll post pics next week since I know how we all like to drool over new toys. In the meantime, any and all comments are welcomed.
