Got me a \'Bota

Just put a deposit down on a BX2200 with FEL and 60mmm today. Thanks to all the good folks on this forum for the crash course on 'Botas the last few weeks!
The boss says I'm acting more giddy than our kids on Christmas morning.
How will I survive the 2 week wait 'til it gets here???

How will you survive..Read the manuals from front to back over an over..make room for your new investment..get all your chores done around the house plus your wifes odd job,that way you'll be ready for plenty of seat time when your BX2200 arrives /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif don't drink to much coffee. /w3tcompact/icons/eyes.gif

another idea, go pick up the service manual...that'll give you something to read...and don't forget looking up all the posts that have BX in them here on TractorByNet! /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif Now THERES a fun way to kill time...

I know what you mean...it only took a week to get mine from when I paid for it, but it seemed like a year....

congrats!! why so long to get it? read the manuel, then when u get it read the manuel while u are looking at it, , i had to waite 2 days for mine and i could hardly stand it./w3tcompact/icons/eyes.gif

Only about 1 more week til I get my toy!
The reason for the wait is 'cause I'm getting it from Carver and there's a few bells 'n whistles I wanted that he had to order.
The honey-do list is continuing to grow. In order for the CEO and kids to give me $$ for the tractor, I had to promise to get them a pool. The pool will be put in as soon as we get a couple of weeks of dry weather (probably Mar or Apr). To make room for the pool, I need to remove 5 trees and install some drain piping to carry water from gutters away from pool area. After the pool goes in, gotta do some grading to clean up the mess and add landscaping around the pool. I think this project alone will convince the boss that I did indeed really need this toy! AND, the reduced mowing time this summer (BX vs. JD LX277) will leave more time for 12oz. curls by the pool! Ain't life great!?

Just don't let your little 'bota go for a swim in the pool. I have found that though eager to please, swimming is not one of the BX's better attributes.
Ah, you have made the appropriate sacrifices?, orange Koolaid and I recommend Meguires carnuba wax for the hood! Perhaps a new pressure washer to keep her clean /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif .

Good to hear from ya J! I've got a good supply of car wax and a good power washer out in the shop.
All I need now is a fresh supply of sun block for my growing bald spot and some of that there orange kooool aid and I'm ready to roll!
J, Do you have a tiller for your BX? What brand is it? I'm still looking for one and am having a hard time letting loose of the 1600 bucks folks around here want for one.

RET; one week ain't so long/w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif around here we don't get dry weather till mabey MAY. march and april i would be moving mud or snow. i always keep my 2400 clean enough so she don't need the power washer, and my choice is turtle wax. ain't life great?(as u said)/w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif
