got my 1531 back

well 2 weeks in the shop and a lot of parts later, I have my little red beast back. Both pto shafts were replaced as well as seals and the shield that was missing from the front pto was installed. The dealer still thinks the grass wound around the pto was the main cause of the problems but questioned me about the front pto lever being engaged. I never used it, but maybe it can be stepped on getting on and off of the tractor? Any of you 1500 series owners have that happen? If running both at once is a problem there should be a lockout or something on the lever. Anyway she's good as new again. Had a Kioti ck25 as a loaner but it just didn't compare to this.

Yes, I had the same thing happen to my 1531, but it was the dealer's fault. They let me borrow one for a week to see if it had the power to do what was needed (it did). The mid PTO was apparantly on when they delivered it, so when I bush hogged, it got all clogged up. There was no cap on it either, so the grass wound all around the mid PTO. It's fixed now, but I don't have the implements ordered over a month ago from Woods so haven't been able to test the PTO very much.

Okay, really mad now! First had the problem with the frontend falling off, then the mid PTO, now the rear housing has a big chunk broken off at the mid PTO bearing. 3 major breaks at 2 weeks at a time=not fun. The dealer had told me that you can't run the mid PTO with the rear PTO and that may have caused it, that just doesn't sound right. Their own brochure says that you can! I take it easy on my machine but I use it as a tractor. Did I buy a $30000 wheelbarrow?
