Yeah if it wasn't for having to eat dinner before a customer came over she (the tractor) would have been up to its belly mud. Can't wait for everything to get worked in then I can really start to abuse, i mean use it.
Its a hydro.
How long before it "broke in"? I would like to be moving some dirt and hauling trees but want to be sure its good and broken in first before I start really working it.
Best way to break it in is work it, dont beat it or redline it the whole day, just try to vary RPM's and heat cycle it when you get a chance, it will be fine.
Oh yeah keep an eye on fluid levels, and keep it greased.
So far so good with it. Its been wet up here so haven't been able to get it out. Yes you are right we (she) are moving manure with it in that pic. She pitches it in there from the horse shed. It did a really good job cleaning up the "stuff" from just outside the door.
I have done some logging road repair with it, mostly moving dirt and rocks to fill in holes. Has really good digging force for not even really being broken in yet.
Even with only 5 more hours on it I have already noticed an improvement in the tractor. Cant wait to see what its like when I start hauling logs and firewood.
