Got my chipper Friday from Jinma Dealer, Wood Chipper , Compact Jinma Tractors, Ronald is a great guy to work with.
I bought the Jinma, pre-serviced by Ronald, with extra blades. Took me 1.5 to 2 hours to uncrate, install base, discharge chute, and hook up to tractor.
Ran fine as shipped, put in 2 hours of hard chipping Saturday with out any troubles.
I was surprised how well it worked on small branches, and how quiet it is.
I'll add some pics of it working soon,

Congrats! Sweet machine. I received my Bearcat chipper last weekend but haven't had a chance to try it yet. I'm not hopeful it will be overly quiet like yours, but oh well. My biggest worry is that I have a lot of dry wood around and I understand chippers don't do very well with dry stuff.

So you said it was "pre serviced". What does that mean, are the issues that have been mentioned on this site dealt with before shipping?

Ronald changes the oil in the gear box, grease jerks, and maybe the set scews.
Adjusts the blades, belts and such.
So it's pretty much ready to go to work.

I ran some pallet lumber ( no nails or staples) pretty dry, it seemed to like that.

I do not recall ANY one EVER saying a chipper was quiet!! Almost always I have heard the exact opposite!! Are you sure you were chipping or were you just standing there making chipping sounds?:D Like my son, who was sitting ont he tractor today and pretending to drive it around.

LOL, guess it's all relative! Better than the power company one. :D

I am jealous.

For an extra hundred bucks, Ranch Hand servicing the chipper sure seems the way to go.

I am SOOOO tempted to get one, but I am concerned my little 1510D Yanmar won't have enough power (19hp engine, 14.5hp pto) even though all I'd run through it is 1/2" stuff anyways.

Just yesterday the fiance tells me she wants to put down a bunch of mulch. I'm looking at my brush pile in the distance as I ponder paying for mulch. What is wrong with this picture!!

Keep us posted on how it works. There are a couple Jinma chippers in my "neighborhod" and both owners love them.
