Got my ecu updated today

Just had the update done. Apparently it's for high elevation vehicles but they want them all updated. Here's the dealers service notice:



Took about 10 minutes or so. Dealer came to me.

I'm scheduled for an update on my CK3510H this Monday. I'll update when I have a chance to use the tractor before commenting further.

Did you notice any difference in operation? I got a similar notice, but seemed a little different.. I have an NX6010. I think mine was about new emission standards and I was hoping that this new update would not decrease power in any way... Did anyone else get a recent update from a Kioti bulletin? Thanks.

Was updated Monday and put about 9 hours on using backhoe and loader digging out and moving some BIG rocks...no issues with power or operation of the tractor:dance1:

How many hours on your tractor? New/recent purchase? I was a Kioti dealer the other day while looking at buying a new tractor and I'd asked about servicing and stuff related to dealing with new vehicle issues; he said that in the first month or so they' likely come out; this would tend to suggest that at some point (obviously) I'd need to go to them. So... with these kinds of things is it normal protocol for dealers to come to you or you go to them, even after say several months?

It's a year old so I don't consider it a new purchase.

They had a few other jobs to do around me but it's a 45 minute drive from them but he said they are compensated by mile so they didn't mind.

Appreciate the reply. Local Kioti dealer (only one around) said that they'd cover for the first month, but then after that I'd be expected to bring the tractor in. Said that they don't get reimbursed for travel costs by the factory.

Wondering if they didn't have anything else going on around you whether they'd have made a separate trip.

Their getting paid by Kioti for the service run mileage, so they should come out regardless of time elasped after purchase.

Yup. Monroe.

I'd only ever dealt with Sound Tractor (well, I'd bought some replacement parts for my field mower from Farmers Equipment up in Burlington [no one in their sales even acknowledged me so I waked out- no Branson sale]). Monroe folks say that they've been dealing with Kioti for almost 20 years, though this has been in various variants: mention of Cub Cadet and others.

Sometimes an established dealer can be responsive, sometimes not, in which case it's all kind of a crap-shoot. Monroe says that Kioti has been really good in responding to them.
