I finally got around to paiting my forks and as luck would have it my daughter picked a color that I already had: New Holland Blue. I also put it to use. Its really handy for sharpening blades on the rider. I just raised it up to take off the blades and then dropped it until I was ready to replace them.

You painted your pallet forks New Holland blue to be used on a John Deere??? Sacrilegious!!!!

Very nice looking set of NH blue pallet forks though.

Don't worry, I'm scraping it off pretty fast. I moved a lot of tree debris this weekend. The next color will be "rust red." I hear that color lasts the longest and is next to impossible to scrape off.
