A while ago I did some horse trading with Dad and traded him my 80s model MF 210 (2wd 25hp, with some cash for his 2001 Rhino International 35 HP 4wd
It had become clear to me that even though my MF was smaller and even 20 yrs older that it was a much better tractor.

I talked to him last night and explained that with the fluid leaking out of the pto shaft, and with the power steering leak from the pump, that it wasn't going to work out. Fortunately Dad said "ok buddy, but I told you about it before the deal" which he did , I was just pumped about the bigger 4wd tractor that I let the maker of it glaze over.

Some posters on TBN get ticked off for my telling them just what you are saying. Good luck :) Ken Sweet

A few years ago, I was showing my Ferguson TO-35 to a friend from South Florida, who deals mostly in sports cars. He scoffed at my tractor, and told me back home they sell for $1000 or less every day. I asked him if he was sure they were TO-35 models . He said he wasn't sure of the make or model, but said all those small tractors are the same, aren't they? I asked him if all trucks are the same, and all cars are the same, and all boats are the same ? He thought for a minute, and said that he just wasn't aware that there were significant differences among tractors. I then proceeded to run through about a dozen major differences among tractors, for a start, and I think I made my point !

Smaller and older beats newer and bigger? Hmmmm. I guess there is something to be said for quality. Glad you got your Massey back. Your dad sounds like a cool dude.
