Spent all afternoon yesterday trying to get my pull behind sprayer working. I bought the sprayer 3 years ago, but have never used it or messed with it. Put about 40 gallons in (holds 150), turned her on - no spray! Pulled off main supply hose - no water! Pulled valve and found it to crusted shut to the point of being dead. Got new valve/fittings, re-filled with 40 gallons water, turned her on and water sprays out the control valve! Dug around in the "plumbing supply box" (since hardware store didn't have anything close) and found a brass fitting. Turn her on - water sprays out of the only hose on the boom I didn't replace (ran out - 1 1/2 foot short!). Found a piece of old 1/2" garden hose to replace it with ( until I can get the correct hose). Turned her on - one nozzle clogged, one part clogged. Cleaned out the nozzles, filled her up to 50 gallon mark and tried it out. Worked great! Now if it would dry out and warm up for a few days........
