Sorry I'm slow getting back here, but our power was out for 4 days or so, and I didn't think the generator electricity would be a good thing for the computers. Those fancy cast iron blue weights look pretty special compared to my currently unpainted homemade steel ones. I've got about 125 lb on each wheel of the DX29 right now, but may add more. I took steel plate, cut it round to fit inside the rim, and then welded some 1 1/2 thick steel discs to the plate. I have two weights on each wheel, the larger one about 80 lb. I can add some more discs to the smaller ones pretty easily and then paint things after some cleanup work. I'll end up with a simple disc showing on the outside of a flat plate on each wheel with the lug nuts hidden by the weights.
