Yeah, I know...in the grand scheme of things, what's the big deal. But as all of you know getting a new attachment is just plain exciting!!/w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif Of course that means I have to share with my friends.
After shopping for a while and reading the thread on gear box vs belt, I decided to spring for the gearbox. Then all of a sudden an ad popped up for a used Woods RM372 6' belt drive mower. It is like new and I got it for $1000 (he was asking $1350) so I couldn't pass it up. It does a terrific job. Cuts as smooth as my riding mower. I can't believe how thick the deck steel is on a quality mower. I've been using cheap stuff too long./w3tcompact/icons/sad.gif And as someone mentioned in a earlier post, the belt drive units are quiet. You can't even hear it running...a pleasant experience after bush hogging!
