Got the "Quick Hitch Don't Fit Blues"

RATS! That quick hitch I got a great deal on in the Winter does not fit my Rotary Cutter because of the RC's Flex Link. Never needed to take off the RC until this past weekend when moving some dirt. Tried everything to make that quick hitch fit. My RC is made by "Fred Cain" out of Dannville, KY. (6 foot model). The top link connection point is too tall for the QHitch and no way to adapt unless I take off the Flex Link. I really like that design of flex link because it stops the rotary cutter from tipping up into the back of the tractor.

Anyone use a RC with Flex Link and a Quick Hitch?

PS. Anyone need a QH for cheap cheap cheap?

I've been messing with a HF quick hitch since saturday.
The biggest problem I am having is with the top hook, basically it doesn't reach in far enough on my Woods box blade or KK tiller.
I've been grinding the inside face of the rear section and it kinda/sorta works, but I have to be SO accurate aligning the tractor that it is in no sense QUICK.
Today I took it off and used the regular pins method - MUCH easier, simpler, quicker.

I probably won't invest the time and effort to make this thing fit everything well enough for me to be able to just lift and drop implements from the tractor seat - as shown in the ads )-:

Summary - p.o.s.

PS I might try adapting a big chain slip hook, where big means whatever will slip around the sleeve and bolt at the top of the tiller - 1/2 or 5/8 chain slip hook ?

I still don't have mine working right; I'm only using it now to hook things up to the top U-shaped hook to drag around. Definitely worth the money to me... real piece of junque.
