Amen to that! I know when I worked on the United Airlines Maintenance project in Indianapolis 8 years ago. United Airlines CEO Wolfe had a base salary of $18 million. I have a problem with it when someone whose shoes cost more than a lot of peoples clothing expenditures for a week starts asking for taxpayer assistance.

That's the other thing that scares the bejeebers out of me, when the airlines were regulated, I think the maintenance was better as profits were higher. How can they be doing proper maintenance if they say they are going belly up after not running a few days? When people don't get their peanut snack you know it, when the maintenance isn't quite as it should be who knows?
