Got to see a B26

Traveling around all time, I would have thougt I would have seen one before now, but alast, found one sitting on the lot at Powerco,Inc, in Clinton, NJ.

She was sitting next to a B3030 cab model, and it really looks like the two are almost the same, untill you look closer. The B26 has wraped hoses to the front stering. and the boots on the tie rods are covered with a metal guard. The Back hoe is a BT820, it looks very nice.

On sitting in the operators seat, I notice that the remote control for the front end loader, is mounted, so as using the arm rest the top is a few inches above your nataual grip, a bit awkward. Also, I am only 5'11" and the seat did not seam to go back enough, and the seat back seamed almost vertical, and I did not seen any way of adjusting it. It does however swing around to the back hoe operating position very easy.

All in all very nice. I would hope you might get the BT 820 with a frame mount kit and be able to put it on a B3030, that would be nice.

That seat back being almost vertical is to give us the proper posture, don't you know. I'm looking for one that has the thumb installed and ready to be worked. Has anyone seen one sitting in a lot with one from the factory??? Regarding the bucket remote lever. I was noticing that in other pictures and thought it was the way the pictures were taken, but your pictures sure show how high it is from the arm rest. It sure does look as if it my be a bit awkward to use, but like anything else one will always over come and operate it without any thought after a few hours on it.

Got back by Powerco, INC. today, and got the following price information.

B26, with 3 instock, one already sold. $28,900.

B21, they have two left, at $26,000.

and just for grins,I as how much for a B3030, with FEL, and BH75,
$24,200.

Just thought I would get this information out here.

When I was at my dealer checking in on when he was getting his B26 in that was to be here first to mid April and now is the end of May. They showed me some literature that says that that arm rest is adjustable and can be set so you arm goes straight out to the remote. He also showed me Kubota lit that shows the same thing. One being the guy using the bucket in a pile of dirt. Hope they are right and if not one will just have to adjust to it.
