2012 GR 2120 48" deck
Yesterday afternoon wife began cutting grass for first time this season, noticed that deck not in normal lowered position, barely cutting the top of the grass. Came home last night, checked hydraulic raise / lower deck action appears to be normal, the round numbered deck height adjustment knob also working; did not measure but turning the knob does affect the height when the deck is lowered, but is still way too tall in the lowest height adjustment. Deck height was set after purchasing mower in 2012, and maybe adjusted a couple of times since then by me, but not recently. Linkage appears normal, nothing I can tell that would prevent the deck to lowering to its normal height. Did not measure the amount of movement when using the hydraulic raise / lower lever, nor the difference in height when moving the height adjustment knob from the low to high settings, guess that is next step, but if anyone would have suggestions, advice, on how to resolve this, I would appreciate this.
