Has anyone built one that attaches to the stock bucket?

We built a straight edge for a. Backhoe buckeg that worked great for cleanup

In my area lots of contractors make a clamp on blade for landscaping that clamps onto the bucket.
I seem to notice that they generally make it about twice the bucket width or slightly wider.
I've seen a variety of attachment methods ranging from simple clamps to welded up sockets that fit the bucket teeth.
On the other hand I don't recall a factory type accessory being offered but could be wrong.

More experienced operators seem to master the swing from side to side technique probably because the don't want to lug around and install/un install another device.

I've seem more often where the operator uses the thumb to grab a beam or timber for smoothing.

Because the boom may not be designed for the severe twisting that a long blade (I-beam) can create. If you do it, grade only soft, loose dirt and be careful of the beam ends getting caught on rocks or a stump.

I used an old dozer cutting edge about 4' long and made a clamping system to mount it on the bucket.
It worked great for cleaning ditches and leveling.
