Grain elevators

The last remaining wooden elevator (which there used to be 3 of) is being torn down in august in our town , Sad i think but i stumbled accross this ....Very interesting .

I thought there was a movement or society set up to preserve and protect them. That is a shame. I go to to Saskatchewan every fall hunting. I love seeing them. I stay in the little town of straussburg. They are holding on to theirs up that way. Every small community has one it seems.

That is sad. They should be preserved, not torn down.

Can you tell us which town will be losing the elevator. I'd like to go down and perhaps video the tear down, at least get some photos.
