Grand L40 Series Cab Sealing

I have an L5740 with three rear hydraulic remotes. When I peer straight down through the slots in the inside of the cab that contain the levers for the remote hydraulic control levels I can see the ground through an opening that is a few inches across. I am trying to determine if I am missing some sort of seal or gasket or if that is typical for cab tractors with rear remotes.

Could someone with rear remotes take a look at their tractor and see if they find the same thing?

There should be a rubber piece with slots cut into it that the levers pass through. That's how my 3240 is set up.
