Grand L40 Suspension Seat.

I recently bought a used L5740 ROPs tractor and the seat was shot. I ordered another one. During this project I noticed the suspension assembly had problems. A bracket was busted that I couldn't repair. Also, the gas strut (Tokico B030017300) was shot. These are over $150 from Kubota. This is Kubota P/N: TD060-47870. I feel that I should be able to replace this with a compatible gas strut for at least half the cost. Anyone done this before? I'm not finding any specs on this part to compare to others.

Gas struts are pretty common. You should be able to find a match or close enough. But no, I don't have those details. Time for some web searching!
